As Policy Director for the League of American Bicyclists, Ken leads the Bicycle Friendly State program, provides technical assistance to state and local advocates, and conducts research on a variety of topics, with an emphasis on how technology will affect the future of bicycling. Ken is also the author of the Benchmarking Report on Bicycling and Walking, which supports the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Active People, Healthy Nation initiative to get 27 million people more physically active. Ken has a J.D. from William & Mary Law School and has a bachelor’s degree from Pomona College in Claremont, CA.
